A. In the reading summary, Harris' explantion for pork prohibition by two of the world's main religions was revied. For this question, you are to complete three tasks. 

1. Identify 3 cultural reasons, as explained by Harris, for cows not being consumed as food in India.
2. Identify 3 cultural reasons, as explained by Harris, for the prohibitions on pork products in Judasim and Islam. 
3. You are to then indentify 2 types of food that are not consumed by americans ( you are only able to use house pets ( dogs, cats, etc.) as of your examples) and offer the cultural reasons why each of those foods is not consumed by americans.

B. This question deals with reading on Mate Selection around the world.

1. Henry has a sister named Betty. Sam has a sister named Wilma. Use this information to discribe the process of "sister exchange". 

2.Fred and Araon are brothers. Estelle and Louise are sisters. Use this information to describe the cultural practices of " sororate" and "levirate".

3. Clyde has a son named Duke. He wishes to get married. Mary is a member of his Tribe. Jane is a member of a different tribe. Whowould Duke be allowed to marry if Clyde's tribe practiced exgamy? Define"exogamy" and explain your answer. Who would Duke be allowed to marry if Clyde's tribe practiced endogamy? Define" endogamy" and explain your answer. 

4. In question C "tribe affiliation" was used as the criteria for defining exogamy and endogamy. For this question, you are to choose another characteristic to create your own examples of exogamy and endogamy.
