Define the scope of the entrepreneurial ecosystem (EE) you are researching
Geography
Sector, e.g., Ag, ICT, natural resources, creative industries, ...
Technology, e.g.,
Sustainability focus (economic, environmental, social)
Conduct desktop research to create a directory of the top 10-20 people and their key resources in the ecosystem you identified
Conduct 1-2 interviews (max 30 min.) of those people of their perceptions of what an entrepreneurial ecosystem is. Generate your own questions, based on what you learned online. Take 1-2 pages of notes per interview. Interviews may be done in person, by video or written/email/chat.
Format: Your choice. Must include (i) keywords of EE scope, (ii) directory of that EE, (iii) notes & lessons learned from 1-2 interviews. Shareable with other students upon arrival (via print and/or OpenLearning)
Assessment criteria in relation to the ecosystem directory:
Resourcefulness (depth and breadth) of desktop search to inform critical decision-making with regards to conceptualising entrepreneurial ecosystems
Comprehensive rationale for the scope of entrepreneurial ecosystem exploration
Relevance of interview design and originality and criticality of questions raised and explored
Insightfulness and coherence of your discoveries about perceptions of entrepreneurial ecosystem(s) from interview(s)
