2. Describe the extent and trends in victimization by terrorism of U.S. citizens in foreign countries
3. Recount various types of terrorists and explain the increased lethality of the "new terrorism"
4. Discuss various theories of terrorism and, in terms of correlations discussed in this chapter, assess the theories
5. Compare two countries with the same number of resident terrorist organiza-tions (Turkey and the United States) and, despite its high amount of heroin trafficking, explain why Turkey does not have more terrorist organizations
