Define physiological reaction to an event

Problem: The fight or flight response is defined as a physiological reaction to an event that is perceived as either stressful or frightening. There are quite a few ways to counter the fight or flight response. You can take deep breaths, do some physical activities such as exercise, or just get some social support. I can't tell you the one that I've found the most helpful because I haven't gotten into many fight or flight situations. The one that I feel would be more effective in helping others would be directing all that adrenaline you get into something else, like working out, doing a hobby you enjoy doing, or just going to sleep. I know a lot of you can relate to that last one.
