Assignment: Law Enforcement Operation
Instructions: Intelligence and law enforcement operations can sometimes conflict. Assume that you are an intelligence analyst in the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Prepare a script for a class for newly hired special agents where you compare and contrast the complimentary and conflicting roles of intelligence operations and law enforcement operations.
Be sure to address the following in your response:
Define intelligence operations.
Define law enforcement operations.
Compare the expectation of prevention versus punishment with regard to intelligence and law enforcement operations.
Compare and contrast how intelligence operations and law enforcement operations can reinforce each other, but also have conflicting requirements.
