During the last decade, as we were still trying to respond to the damages of the 2008 final crisis, some of the major tendencies included deleverage, regulation, active monetary policy, and an increase in precious metal prices, among others. As the effects of the Great Recession and subprime financial crisis have subdued and are for the most part behind us, what are the current trends that are likely to define global financial markets moving forward? Specifically, indicate a few major trends that you believe will characterize the global financial landscape during the next decade. Which trends that at the moment you are writing are indicated by the media as being the most important do you think are just fads and will be short lived?
