Define flow at a hydraulic jump upstream and downstream in

Define flow at a hydraulic jump (upstream and downstream) in terms of the types of flow and corresponding Froude number. What is the depth of water at each section (upstream and downstream) compared to critical depth? Not that a hydraulic jump can occur in the folowing situations: flow under a sluice gate, a change in slope from very steep to mild, flow over a weir. Draw each of these circumstances and describe why each of these circumstances can give rise to a hydraulic jump.
