Deferred scripts do not immediately do anything. To use deferred commands, you have to call them from outside the deferred script. There are three methods to call deferred scripts that are following:
- From immediate scripts, via the function mechanism
- By user-initiated events, via event handlers
- By clicking on links or image-map zones which are connected with the script
