Debate - Pesticides and Genetically Modified Foods
This debate will be on the use of pesticides and genetically modified (GM) foods. You have been assigned to defend position 2.
Position 2: The use of pesticides poses several risks that outweigh any benefits of pesticide use. Genetically modified foods cause unacceptable risks. It is not safe for us to use pesticides and genetically modified food.
Task 1. You should have at least 5 questions that can be asked of each of your opponents. The questions should be specifically directed to your opponents, and they should be concise and clear.
Task 2. You should have answers prepared that will be used to respond to your opponents' questions. Imagine that you are from the other team and determine what questions may be asked of your team.
