Debate legality of digital surveillance in fourth amendment

Assignment task:

Help to respond to these people

Person 1:

I think the government does a good job at protecting the freedom of religion. Not only are people allowed to practice whatever religion they choose, no specific religion is forced upon American citizens. Additionally, the Sherbert Test further protects freedom of religion. Through the Sherbert Test, the government cannot limit the practice of a religion unless there is "compelling government interest" in restricting the religion; and that there is no alternative method to meet this goal other than passing a law. The government could better protect the Fourth Amendment as there is a current debate regarding the legality of digital surveillance under the Fourth Amendment.

Person 2:

The government protects many rights and freedoms such as the right to vote, freedom of speech, and the right to bear arms. The Bill of Rights holds the rights of citizens that are protected by the government and are actively practiced. However, some of these rights have repercussions such as the right to bear arms. While this is an American right, I believe there should be exceptions due to the events of shootings that have been happening lately. I also think that the freedom to practice religion is something that is greatly appreciated. Islam, Christianity and Hinduism, and Judaism are all practiced throughout the US. I believe the government should protect women's reproductive rights. This is something that has been protected for so long until recently. The constitution has given everyone rights and the freedom to live freely, so I believe the government should uphold that and allow women to tend to their reproductive rights as they wish.
