There are three important terms: databases, data warehouses and data mining. Define each of these terms, including how they are related and how they are different.
Next discuss how data warehouses allow healthcare organizations to data mine for the purpose of improving patient outcomes or business operations.
After reading the HIMSS article, and using at least 2 additional references, prepare a minimum 2 page paper, excluding title and reference pages, that describes the purpose of a data warehouse or data repository. Discuss how data mining is being utilized to improve clinical care or business operations and identify legal and ethical issues that may occur due to data mining of clinical data. Follow APA format, and DONT forget to include in text citations.
