Question: Currently, ten U.S. states have "bottle bills"; i e., container deposit laws. Many of those states are also campaigning for updates and expansions, and still others have active campaigns for new bottle bills. For example, Michigan bottling law requires that people get a refund of ten cents when they return an empty bottle or can.
