Project Guidelines:
1. Conduct an online research and select a significant political news developent that ocured during the past six (6) months. (event must have drawn a national debate).
2. Current event must be pertinent to one or more of the fourteen topics covered in this course and has political dimensions. (i had listed 8 of the 14 topics)
3. Write a summary analysis that describes the event and explains its background.
4. Research and citeat least three articles from the literature or news outlets that have covered and discussed this event and explain the authors' views (you must cite from the articles to supportyour arguments).
5. Explain how the event you have chosen connects to concepts, theories and topics discussed in the textbook. (Be specific in this section of the project, do not give general sentences).
6. Briefly give your opinion an state why this event is important to our study and understanding of US politics.
