Problem: Talk to someone you know who was an adult (at least 21, say) for all or most of the 1990s, and ask them what they remember most about that decade. (Your parents might be a good choice, though if anyone tells me you're parents weren't 21 in the 1990s, I might have a heart attack.) What I'm interested in is their recollection of the important cultural, political, economic, and/or social events or trends of the 90s -- nothing personal in the sense that "Oh your Uncle Julius died in 1993" but personal in the sense of what that time was like for them.
