Lastly, you will develop a one to two-page welcome letter that:

Provides a short welcome statement that introduces yourself and your new program.

Describes how you will address families and children's concerns, fears, and challenges in and out of school (e.g., neighborhood violence, media violence, social media issues, and bullying).

Explains how to recognize the signs of children's anxiety and how world and community events can affect their view of themselves, their understanding of their capabilities, and relationships with others.

Discusses how families' unique needs and cultural contexts will be incorporated into the curriculum, environment, and materials.

Summarizes how the program will be anti-biased, diverse, and inclusive with examples for each (three total).

Submission

Uses professional language with correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation in the 2 to 3-page analysis and 1 to 2-page philosophy statement document (minimum of three pages total).

Provides an APA formatted title page and reference page with at least one additional credible source (make sure to reference any data used from the census) to support ideas
