In this assignment you will be required to make use of an excel spread sheet to provide an excel based program that will ultimately be able to produce the sear force and bending moment diagrams of a beam as well as determining the deflection of the beam. The beams in figure 1, figure 2 and figure 3 should be analysed.

All the necessary calculations are necessary to determine the required result for the different members. This includes the following:
The reactions of the beam.
The shear force on regular intervals.
The position at which the shear force diagram indicates the maximum bending moment point. The bending moment at regular intervals.
The maximum bending moment.
The position of the maximum deflection and the bearing of the deflection.
All the different calculations must be presented by the different group members through the different stages of the calculations. A maximum of four group members will be allowed per group. The final submission must be done by handing in a CD (one CD per group) with the required files.
