Requirements:
1. Create a 250-350 word statement that describes your values and beliefs about nursing.
2. Create your philosophy using the first person, for example... I believe that...
3. Title your paper Personal Philosophy of Nursing.
4. Refer to your APA text (6th edition) for the correct format for the Title page, page numbers, and the first page format.
5. References and citations would not be appropriate for your personal philosophy.
6. Submit by date noted in the Course Schedule (the last day of this Unit).
The following aspects of your professional philosophy are required:
• Nursing is...(Define or describe your perspective of nursing. What does nursing mean? Who is nursed? Who nurses?)
• Person is ...(Define or describe your perspective of person. Describe why and how you view a person as such)
• Health is...(Define or describe what you think health is and how it relates to nursing, and to person.)
• Environment is...(Define or describe what you believe environment to be, how it relates to nursing, person, and health.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also Include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
