In this exercise, act as pharmaceutical representatives. Your mission is to convince (PERSUADE) your audience (fellow healthcare workers) the benefits of your drug.
You may choose from the following list (1. Vicodin vs Percocet, 2. Zocor vs Lipitor, 3. Prinivil vs Tenormin, 4. Synthroid vs Thyrolar, 5. Norvasc vs Corzide, 6. Amoxil vs Augmentin, 7. Dyazide vs Lopressor HCT, 8. Glucophage vs Avandamet, 9. Zithromax vs Levaquin, 10. Prilosec vs Zegerid or Nexium) or choose a drug of interest or one that you have seen on TV or a NEW drug on the market, but make sure you have a comparable competitor. Create a 10 minute Power Point presentation to convince/persuade the audience, you can make it as fancy as you want with sound, etc.

This is going to require a bit of research and knowledge of both your drug. Use at least 3 sources other than our text such as: medical journals, books, encyclopedias, e-sources, or computer abstracts. Consider including research studies and statistics to persuade your audience.
Your presentation must use the APA style of writing and be grammatically correct. You have 2 options:
1) Prepare your PPT with speaker's notes detailing your speech complete with citations and references within your PPT presentation that I can evaluate, or
2) Prepare you PPT without speaker's notes, but rather include all of the information on slides. This 2 nd option will require more slides.
