Capstone Project Assignment: Principles of Sales and Marketing
You're an entrepreneur who has a great idea for a product or service, but you're lacking the funds to implement your brainchild. You know you're going to make a fortune, but you just need funding. It'll be tough, but your job is to create a great presentation that will secure funding from willing investors.
This project will be broken down into three separate parts. The culmination of your work will be a Power Point Presentation (10 slides minimum) outlining the benefits of your product or service.

Advertising and Messaging
A creative marketing campaign can be key in attracting venture capitalists. For Part 3, you will develop an advertising campaign for your product that will impress the investors. For some great tips on how to create winning campaigns.
1) First, you'll need to address how you will reach your target market. What different media will you use? (TV, Radio, print, social media, etc.). Choose 3 different media channels and write a paragraph (5-7 sentences total) on why each of them will effectively communicate with your target market.
2) Create one newspaper print advertisement (minimum 50 words) that will resonate with your target market and convey your unique selling propositions. If you would like to include an image that will go along with the ad's text, please do so. Be creative and use your imagination.
3) Now that you have completed all capstone project parts build a presentation to present to the investorsthat include a description of your idea, your competitors, and the advertisement you created above. Create a PowerPoint presentation (10 slides minimum) summarizing the work you've done. Remember, a great presentation is key to your success. In your PowerPoint, make sure you address the potential profits that can be made.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
