Create four questions based on police discretion using stasis theory. I don't seem to please the instructor, can someone help? The first question should define the issue, in other words, this is where the controversy is regarding your topic. You would be saying that there are at least two opposing sides to the issue here.
You would then define and describe both sides of the issue with your first question. Your second question, question of fact (and second section) would provide facts about both sides of the controversy. A good question for your third section would be, How does police discretion affect its stakeholders? You would then provide positive and negative effects to all the stakeholders. What are the social implications? seems to be a good question, but a more appropriate question for your last section would be in describing what needs to be done to resolve your issue, or controversy. In other words, do policies need to be change? do laws need to be change? Is more education needed? if so, for whom?
