In this Group Project, you will design a HIPAA Compliance Protocol for a Medical Practice. Assume that your group is a HIPAA compliance consulting agency. Your agency is preparing a document summarizing the HIPAA Security and Privacy policies that an office must follow in order to be compliant.
To prepare for this Group Project, review the HIPAA Security and Privacy Policy as can be found at the Web site, HIPAA Privacy Rule.
• Create an implementation strategy for a physician's office. Include checklists, safeguards, etc. to ensure compliance and periodic monitoring.
