Part I: Contracts & Breach of Contracts
In 250 to 300 words, create an enforceable contract in any department of a health care organization. Then explain how a contract can be legally valid, when a contract is voidable, and what happens when one of the parties cannot perform the obligations written in the contract. Use at least one scholarly and/or peer-reviewed source that was published within the last five years.
Part II: Fraudulent Financial Reporting
In 250 to 300 words, develop a plan for compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) in a hospital setting. Explain how employees can become knowledgeable about the major provisions of SOX, how top executives can comply with the major provisions, and how conflicts of interest in the organization can be observed. Use at least one scholarly and/or peer-reviewed source that was published within the last five years.
The response must include a reference list. Using one-inch margins, double-space, Times New Roman 12 pnt font and APA style of writing and citations.
