Assignment: Training Manual
Create a 45-minute training seminar on using hip-hop/rap therapy to help child sex trafficking victims. The audience should be African American teenage girls.
Training Outline
1) Preliminary considerations
• Title of your workshop
• Format
• Target Audience-
o Size
o Length of time ( 1 hour)
o Educational/ Experience Level,
o Environment
o Equipment needed (i.e overheads, projectors for PowerPoints, flip charts, chalk)
2) Write a 2 page Introduction ( Double space 12 point Font, Times New Roman) which includes :
• the problem,
• Prevalence- with community and nationally
• supporting data ( graphs and tables are great, you should have at least I of each)
• Therapeutic Models being used and Why
• Why other models are ineffective, or are limited when dealing with urban youth.
3) Establish Objectives of the Training ( Limit to 3) List the skills and knowledge to be taught, establish suitable teaching units (i.e modules) draft expanded outline of modules
4) Think about 2 exercises and/or activities,
5) Think about how you would process the activities?
• What will they have learned by the exercises?
• Give some realistic examples
• How will the audience apply the new learning?

9) Then write an abstract (500 words max) for Training including a brief biography (1 paragraph)
10) How to use manual.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
(1) The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
