Assignment: History PSA (Public Service Announcements)
Cover a topic in American History between 1865 and 2008.
Topic: Barack Obama- the first African American elected to the White House to become the 44th U.S. president of the United States.
Create a public service announcement using Prezi. Public Service Announcements are messages designed to inform and educate the public with the goal of changing public opinion and/or raise awareness. Your goal is to create a presentation that will raise awareness or change public opinion on a historical topic covered in the course.
The Prezi presentation must have a minimum of 4 "slides" and a maximum of 7.
The presentation should have a combination of written, audio and video content. The presentation must be creative but more importantly, informative. You are "teaching" your viewer about a period in history that they might not otherwise know. The information provided in the presentation must be historically accurate. Possible content can include, but is not limited to, interviews, role playing skits, newspaper advertisements, primary sources, images.
This paper should only include information up to 2018, when Barack was elected.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
