Essay Problem
Students will write an essay or create a presentation based on an assigned chapter from "The Silk Roads". The essay/presentation will include:
o A brief overview of the chapter (equivalent of 1 written paragraph).
o Definitions or descriptions of 5 to 7 important terms or items from the chapter (equivalent of 1 sentence per definition).
o A description of 3 to 5 important developments from the chapter (equivalent of 2 to 3 sentences per development).
o An explanation of how the information in the chapter corroborates, qualifies, modifies, extends or refutes that from the textbook -- Worlds Together, Worlds Apart (equivalent of 1 paragraph).
o An explanation of how the information from your assigned chapter extends from or is connected to the previous chapter. of Silk Roads. (Equivalent of 1 paragraph).
o An explanation of how the information from your assigned chapter extends from or is connected to the following chapter of Silk Roads. (Equivalent of 1 paragraph).
The response must include a reference list. One-inch margins, double-space, Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font and APA style of writing and citations.
