Organizational leaders are responsible for creating a work environment that enables people to thrive. If turf wars, disagreements, and differences of opinion escalate into interpersonal conflict, you must intervene immediately. Not intervening is not an option if you value your organization and your positive culture. In conflict-ridden situations, your mediation skills and interventions are critical.
Create a paper about successful conflict resolution strategies that you have observed or utilized in the workplace or at home. Determine whether conflict ever be healthy, giving both reasoning and examples. Examine how the diversity of your organization and its customers impacts an organization. What factors can you utilize to diminish conflict within a diverse workforce?
Then, briefly explain what you believe the supervisory role should be regarding conflict resolution in the workplace.
