when designing the lesson, choose a performance objective from the Common Core State Standards or the Arizona English Language Arts (ELA) & Literacy in History/Social Studies, Science, & Technical Subjects standards to create the content objective for your lesson.
Select the English Language Proficiency Standard to use in planning your lesson based on the needs of your students. Consider applicable language acquisition stages of development in the development of your plan.
