Discussion Post: Writing Formal Emails
We reviewed strategies for approaching your coursework as well as writing formal emails. Review the scenarios below and select one that you'd like to practice. Imagine that you are the student in the scenario. Then, in a new discussion thread, craft an email to the individual in the scenario that addresses the situation and/or the student's need, writing it from the point of view of the student.
Scenarios:
o Dana is experiencing a medical emergency and will be unable to meet the deadline for this discussion post. Decide who they should contact, and write a formal email addressing the situation.
The response should include a reference list. One-inch margins, Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space and APA style of writing and citations.
