Assignment Problem:
(1) Definition of crisis and/or crisis as a danger or opportunity; (2) factors (material resources and personal resources) that determine danger or opportunity; (3) situational crisis; (4) developmental crisis, and contributions to crisis intervention from other theoretical modalities (psychoanalytic, existential, humanistic, and cognitive-behavioral theories).
Of the four topic areas above in italics, select one and explain and provide an example of how the concept might help to understand more about a crisis and how that understanding could help a counselor with a client experiencing a crisis.
