Problem: Women's contributions to history are often shortchanged. But throughout the first half of the semester, we have discussed a number of women that made significant contributions to the development of Western Civilization. What were the two most significant contributions and why? Which women made those contributions? What impact did it have on the development of Western Civilization? Was Romanticism important to this development or did it perpetuate stereotypes?
