Construct the bonferroni 95 confidence intervals for all

Biology and Environmental Science

Soil permeability, the rate at which water can flow through the soil, is an important measure prior to construction. Four different potential county development sites in Wisconsin were selected for testing. Independent random samples of locations within each development were selected, and the soil permeability was measured at each location (in inches per hour). An ANOVA test was conducted to determine whether there was any difference in population mean permeability rates ( f = 9.10 and MSE = 0.02504). The summary statistics are given in the following table.

a. Find bounds on the p value associated with this (significant) F statistic.

b. Construct the Bonferroni 95% confidence intervals for all pairwise comparisons and draw a graph to represent the results.
