Construct the 1-factor model and report the model fit -

LISRELL software needs to be used for this analysis.?

The Ability and Aspiration data

Calsyn and Kenny (1977) presented an analysis based on 556 white eight-grade students. - The measures are:
X1 = self-concept of ability (S-C ABIL)
X2 = perceived parental evaluation (PPAREVAL)
X3 = perceived teacher evaluation (PTEAEVAL)
X4 = perceived friend's evaluation (PFRIEVAL)
X5 = educational aspiration (EDUC ASP)
X6 = college plans (COL PLAN)
- The correlation matrix is given in the file "ability_aspiration.COR"
- Sample size = 556

1. Construct the 1-factor model and report the model fit.

2. Construct the 2-factor model (assume Xl, X2, X3, and X4 are the indicators of "ability" and X5 and X6 the indicators of "aspiration.") and report the model fit.

3. Compare the two models.

4. What is the final model?
