Assignment task: Construct a fictional outbreak outline with the given case
At the beginning of May 2023, a middle school nurse in the Midwest region of the United States reported an abnormally high number of students who were experiencing fever and sore throats. Over the course of the following few days, additional students as well as some members of the faculty reported experiencing similar symptoms. As of the 10th of May, a total of 45 instances had been documented, and the ages of those affected ranged from 11 to 52 years. The majority of reported cases were found among pupils in grades six through eight, and the racial makeup of those affected was rather broad. It did not seem that a difference in occupation was a role in this epidemic, since pupils as well as faculty members were afflicted with the illness. Every single example said that they lived in exactly the same towns as the institution.
