Construct a boxplot and check for outliers

1. Group the data using 9 classes:

a. Equal class widths using upper and lower cutpoints for frequency, relative frequency, and midpoint.
b. Equal class widths using class limits for frequency, relative frequency, and class mark.
c. Construct two histograms that display the above classes exactly.

2. Construct a boxplot and check for outliers. If there is/are outliers delete it/them and use the resulting dataset for question 4 and 5.

3. Check the data by constructing potentially two histograms. One with the outliers if there is/are any and one without the outliers. Are the results consistent with question 2? Also do a relative frequency histogram.

4. Calculate the mean, median, mode and standard deviation for the data. If you found an outlier in questions 1 what quantitative (calculate) effect did it have on the mean and standard deviation and was the effect significant?

5. For a consumption value of 78.8 find its standard (z) score. If you found an outlier in question 2 what effect did it have on the standard score?
