Consider the public policy about right to carry concealed weapon laws and evaluate its effectiveness in terms of crime control. First describe the nature of the problem the policy is intended to address and briefly describe the policy. Is this public policy effective and should it be implemented? Using other scholar's research conclusions drawn from social science or legal literature to critique the policy. Is the policy applicable to the nature of crime as it actually exists? What is the theory or explanation for crime that it assumes? What is the evidence (if any) of its effectiveness?
