Thanks for your post, good note in that: Consequently, the waste of resources that could have occurred due to wastage when multiple actors operate independently is prevented.
The NRF is also beneficial as it is an all-hazards plan that provides structure and mechanisms that guide disaster management. The all-hazards approach also ensures that the various risks and hazards that could result from an incident are effectively dealt with.
Further, consider that With the emplacement of the NRF at all levels, taking in input from all levels, it helps establish the proper SOP throughout all sectors.
I think communication plays an immense role in the efficiency of disaster/emergency prevention and response. With the necessary duties and responsibilities established and a streamlined communication between these agencies, we afford ourselves the greatest mitigation in loss of property and personnel. Your thoughts?
