I have to write a paper for a sustainability issue and the class that I am taking should give me the basic of finance. I have chosen to write a paper on how to develop a compost business, which turns all the organic waste, such as paper, leaves, and food waste, in decomposed organic material that improves the soil which in turn supports healthier and more productive plants. Some of the questions are as below:
1. Consider financing sources for your idea. - Green bond? social bond? I guess it should be more than one
2. Where do your cash flows come from -cost savings versus revenue generation or both.- I think revenues come from selling the compost, but I don't know how can I save coss with this business? Any thoughts?
3. How will claimants be paid? By the revenue we get? no?
