2. Shaun brakes a window and enters a locked liquor store after hours intending to steal liquor. He finds a locked store room, brakes the lock and enters the room. Shaun finds cases of alcohol in the store room. He then opens a bottle of rum. He decides to see what alcohol is stored in the room and strikes a match for light. 3. John rents a room above a gambling den. He drills holes in the floor boards with the plan to break into the gambling den to steal money from the gamblers. Before entering the gambling den, John decides to not continue with the theft and leaves. What crime if any did John commit, and explain why?
