Confidence interval for the true average hole diameters

A sample of size 40 from housing units is selected and a hole diameter for bushings on the housings is determined for each one, resulting in a sample mean of 5.426 mm. In addition, historical data suggested that the distribution of hole diameters was normal with a standard deviation of .100 mm. Calculate a 90% confidence interval for the true average hole diameters, and give the interpretation.
