Last semester I was having class of 36 students in STAT 319 course, of which 27 students filled-in their course and instructor evaluation report. Based upon this information do the following:
i) Determine a 95% Confidence Interval for the Proportion of those stiudents who will fill in the course and instructor evaluation report this semester for STAT 319. Alos interpret your confidence interval.
ii) Test my belief that at least 80% of the students will fill in the course and instructor evaluation report this semester in my section. Use p-value approach to reach at your decision.
