Are girls less inclined to enrol in science course than boys? One study asked primary school students how many science subjects they intend to take in high school. The following data were obtained:
Males n=203, Mean= 3.42, SD= 1.49
Females n=224, Mean= 2.42, SD= 1.35. Set up a 99% confidence interval for the difference between males and females in mean numbers of science subjects planned and interpret the meaning of this interval.
