Assignment
This is the next written assignment of the semester. As with all assignments, you must write them in MICROSOFT WORD and upload them as .DOC or .DOCX documents only. Any other file format or word processor is not acceptable. This assignment is a multiple page essay, but it should be a minimum of two pages.
Spell/grammar check your documents as that counts....however...
Proofread your work to make sure the proper words are used to convey your thoughts.
Before, you've organized some interview questions, in this assignment, you will actually conduct an interview.
Conduct an interview with a person of interest to you. It can be a classmate, a teacher, a politician or anyone else.
Make sure you capture direct quotes, even if you need to record the entire interview. Then write a piece that shows your ability to use direct and indirect quotes.
The piece doesn't need an exotic lead, but it should tell your readers what the piece should cover. (Bill Smith works as a janitor at the school and says teachers are the messiest people in the building.)
Then use paraphrases and quotes to create a smooth-flowing piece that has a solid middle and a good ending.
