For your culminating Signature Assignment, you will research one topic that has been addressed in this course. Compare Governance and Organizational Structure: NCAA vs. NAIA
Include the following components in your paper:
• State the problem/topic.
• Design a thesis statement.
• Conduct a review of literature for the topic you have selected.
• Connect the literature to your statement problem. What does it contribute to the topic? Are there connections in the current research? Are there differences of opinions?
• Determine what is missing in the current research and decide upon future implications for investigation of your topic.
• Relate your review of literature to your current and/or future in intercollegiate athletic leadership.
Complete a thorough review of the literature, including peer-reviewed journal articles and sources in your references. Avoid discussing each source separately. Try to organize your paper based on guiding principles and focus areas.
Length: 12-15 pages.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
