The concept of Community Oriented Policing was launched to law enforcement agencies around the country in the early 1980's. It has been introduced as the solution to the problematic nature of police-community relations. Considering the problems inherent in the multicultural composition of both the community and the police and the police subculture, please discuss the feasibility of implementation of the tenets of this philosophy.
