Compute the approximate jp-value associated with the test

The average fuel consumption of a 4-wheel drive truck is 12.9 L/100 km. The average fuel consumption for seven randomly selected trucks are 13.5, 13.0, 12.6, 12.2, 12.8, 12.9, and 13.1. Assume the fuel consumption distribution is normal. It is of interest to know if the sample data suggest the average fuel consumption is different from 12.9 L/100 km.
a. State the appropriate hypotheses.
b. Compute the test statistic for the hypotheses in the previous question..
c. Compute the approximate jp-value associated with the test statistic in the previous question. Does the sample data support the null hypothesis at the a- 0.05 level?
