You have a desuperheater that has a steady-flow, is an adiabatic mixing process that mixes superheated water vapor with a cold liquid, together they make a stream of saturated water vapor (wet steam). The superheated water vapor enters the system at 5MPa, 400C with a mass flow rate of 0.5 kg/s. Water exits the system as a 4.5MPa saturated vapor (quality is 100%). Find the required mass flow rate of the compressed liquid.
