Compute height and velocity of container at time


The container with mass M kg is dropped by the helicopter from given height H km at time t=0, with zero velocity. From outset, its fall is handled by gravity and force of air resitance, f(v)= -kv, where v is current velocity of container.

In t second after drop, parachute opens, resulting in increase of air resistance up to F(v)= -Kv. Find time T at which container touches ground, and its velocity at moment, if

M = 200kg, H =2000m, t =20s, k=10kg/s, and K =400kg/s
