Petroleum engineering: CEMENT PROBLEM

A 3000-ft, 13.375 in. (54lb/ft) surface casing string is to be cemented in the 17.5 in hole. The mud weight is 10 lb/gal. The 1000-ft tail slurry is 14.2lb/gal class A cement with 4% bentonite. The remaining lead is 12.2 lb/gal class A cement with 16 % bentonite. Use a 100 % volumetric washout factor compute:

1- Cement, water, and gel requirements.

2- Displacement volume

3- Differential pressure before releasing the top plug.

4- Differential pressure when top plug lands on float collar.
