It is an optical instrument by which very small object like as biological specimens are seen that cannot be seen by naked eyes.
Compound microscope having of long metallic tube of variable length. Two converging lenses are mounted at its two ends.
Convex lens of short focal length and small operture is known as objective.
Convex lens of bigger focal length and large operture is known as eye piece.
