Composition of magma can modify from mafic to felsic

As a general rule, magmas which encompass different chemical compositions encompass different temperatures. For illustration, basaltic magmas erupt at around 1200 °C while rhyolitic magmas erupt at around 700 °C. Explain the difference in chemical composition among these two kinds of magma. Then describe why the composition of magma can modify from mafic to felsic with reducing temperature.
